Other Things to Do for Valentine’s Day in Kelowna
If a scheduled event isn’t really your thing, don’t worry – there’s still plenty to do in and around Kelowna this Valentine’s Day. Here are some other ideas for things to do!
Skating at Stuart Park
What could be more romantic than skating by the lake with your special someone? Enjoy a little skate around, then grab a hot chocolate to enjoy while warming your hands together at the bonfire. It’s the perfect setting to cozy up with your partner.
When: Daily from 6am to 11pm
Where: Stuart Park Outdoor Skating Rink
Tickets: Free (bring your own skates or rent onsite for a fee)
Try Something New
If you want to keep things fresh for Valentine’s Day this year, why not try something new, either as a single or with your partner? This is a great way to get out and meet someone or expand your horizons together with a loved one. Try taking a class together, get out and try a new restaurant, go to an escape room – the possibilities are endless!
A Backwards Dinner & a Movie Date
Dinner and a movie is a classic date formula, but have you ever tried doing it backwards? Especially if your relationship is relatively new or this is a first date, try going to your movie first and then having dinner. This way, you can talk together about the movie at dinner so there won’t be any lulls in the conversation!
Winter Activities
All the snow in Kelowna makes a great opportunity to get out there and be active this Valentine’s Day, if that’s your thing. Try out a winter hike, cross-country skiing, or snowshoeing. Afterwards, take your partner for a hot cider or share a bottle of wine by the fire to warm up.
