We are so pleased to announce that the Canadian Home Builders Association (CHBA) has named Lakestone as Canada’s Community Development of the Year in the 2020 CHBA National Awards for Housing Excellence!
It has been an honour and a pleasure to work with Macdonald Communities Limited for the past 16 years, particularly on the Lakestone development. We cannot think of a developer or community that is more deserving of this recognition.

The 2020 CBHA National Awards for Housing Excellence recognizes excellence in housing in new homes, renovations, community development, and residential marketing across the country. The awards ceremony was hosted online on June 12, bringing people together virtually from coast to coast. This year there were over 700 entrants across all categories, and nearly 200 judges from across the country were involved in selecting the winning entries.
