Start off your holiday season with a beer. With many noteworthy options, take some time to do a tour of tasty pours. One to make note of this holiday season is The Kelowna Beer Institute. This year they are featuring their 6th Annual Cask Advent Challenge, with 24 casks in 24 days, going on from Nov 30th – Dec 23rd. Purchase a passport to patriciate and get 20 or more stamps and you are in the draw on December 23 for prizes including “beer for half a year!”
Snowshoeing At The Telemark Nordic Club
Step away from the crowd and head up to the Telemark Nordic Club in West Kelowna to ski or snowshoe the powder trails. Don’t have any experience? Not to worry as the club offers rentals and lessons onsite that allow you to make the most of your experience no matter your skill level.
Take In The Scenery At Myra Canyon
Enjoy the snowy views while snowshoeing the trestles at Myra Canyon. With 2 tunnels and 18 trestle bridges, you will need to make sure you plan for the day! Keep an eye out as you might see some local wildlife that frequent the area in the winter.
